The winds of change are blowing through Nandi County, and they’re carrying with them the unstoppable energy of youth, football, and pure passion! FKF Nandi Branch has officially kicked off Youth Leagues across its sub-branches, and the game is on — not just for the goals, but for the future!

From Emgwen to Chesumei and all the way to Aldai, Tinderet, Mosop and Nandi Hills, the dream of nurturing raw talent and building a formidable football foundation has begun to take beautiful shape. With the guidance of the Youth Representative Nandi Branch, Collins Vishiawa, and the full support of the entire FKF Nandi Branch Office Under the Chairmanship of Abdulatif Korir, and Vice Chairman Albert Martins ,this isn’t just a league — it’s a movement.

Pool A got us rolling with a spirited first match at Kipchoge Stadium in Kapsabet — a symbolic venue, named after our global hero, setting the stage for heroes in the making.

Pool B brought the heat next, as Kapkangani Primary School hosted its opening clash on April 23, 2025. The turnout was electric, the fans vocal, and the young players? Simply sensational.

Now, all eyes are on Pool C, whose grand launch is set for Saturday, April 26, 2025, in the Aldai Sub-Branch. If the energy from the first two pools is anything to go by, Aldai is about to witness a football fiesta like no other!

Why This Matters: More Than Just Football

This youth league initiative is not just about matches — it’s about mentorship, discipline, opportunity, and hope. It’s about getting young people off the sidelines of life and into a structured environment where they can grow, learn, and shine.

And let’s be real — this is Nandi, the land of champions. Whether on track or pitch, we breed excellence. So why not start building our next national team players right here, right now?

Powered by Vision, Backed by Action

FKF Nandi Branch isn’t just talking about youth development — we’re living it, breathing it, and investing in it. This is all part of our broader mandate to ensure that football is more than just a game — it’s a tool for transformation.

What’s Next?

Expect action-packed weekends, dazzling skills, community pride, and maybe a few rising stars who’ll one day wear the Harambee Stars jersey — or even take on Europe’s biggest clubs. Why not? The talent is here. The structure is here. And now, the platform is here.

Join the Journey

Whether you’re a coach, a parent, a fan, or just someone who loves football — this is your league too. Support your local teams. Cheer loud. Share the matches online. Let the youth know we see them, we believe in them, and we are behind them all the way.

FKF Nandi Branch isn’t waiting for the future — we’re creating it.

Let the games begin!
