When the dust finally settled on 30th November 2025, one thing was clear:

Lessos FC are the kings of Nandi County.

After 30 hard-fought matches, gutsy comebacks, drama-filled fixtures, and a finish that will be remembered for years, the boys from Lessos lifted the crown — not with a flashy final-day win… but with a nerve-breaking 0–0 draw against United Stars at Lessos Primary.

And just like that, a stalemate became history-making.

The Moment Champions Are Made

The stadium at Lessos Primary School didn’t need fireworks. Every pass was electricity. Every tackle tasted like adrenaline. A single goal from either side could rewrite destiny. But the 0–0 draw was enough — the final mathematical stroke to secure the trophy.

A Twist Worth Every Page of a Football Novel

Nandi Bullets were sitting proud at 62 points.

One match remained.
They were scheduled to travel to Kapkures Primary to face Collabo United, who were on 57 points.

But the Bullets never showed up.

The laws of football are unforgiving:

Walkover = 3 points + 2 goals to Collabo United

And just like that:

  • Collabo jumped to 60 points, claiming 2nd place.
  • Nandi Bullets dropped to 59 points, finishing 3rd.

The Final Standings (Top 6)

Why Lessos FC Truly Deserved It

Statistics are numbers — but these numbers scream identity:

  • Only 14 goals conceded in 30 matches
  • The strongest defense in the league
  • The fewest losses of any team
  • Consistency in big games

They didn’t always score five goals.
They didn’t always dance.
But they defended like a wall built on prayer, sweat, and pure strategy.

A champion is not always the flashiest team — sometimes, it’s the one that refuses to break.

Collabo United: The Team That Refused to Die

Collabo were like a stubborn character in a movie who keeps getting punched but always stands up.

Their attacking numbers were impressive:
51 goals, matching Lessos’ goal-margin dominance.

And when fate gave them one last lifeline — Nandi Bullets’ no-show — they grabbed it with both hands.

They did not just enter second place.
They earned it through resilience, pressure, and a season-long grind.

Nandi Bullets: From Near Glory to 3rd Place

Sometimes football is cruel.

Imagine:

  • 62 points.
  • One more match.
  • A chance to finish at 65, comfortably ahead of everyone.

Instead, absence became defeat.

The walkover cost them:

  • 3 points
  • 2 goals
  • Their silver medals

From title contenders to third place — all in the final day.

Football doesn’t reward potential; it rewards presence.

The Pride of a County

If you stood anywhere near the touchline this season — Kaptien, Kosirai, Kapkures, Lessos, Kapsasur — you felt it.

The tension.
The cheering.
The laughter.
The arguments.
The late whistles.
The last-minute prayers.

This wasn’t just a competition.
It was Nandi County football culture in full color.

Congratulations to Lessos FC — Champions of the 2024/2025 Nandi County League

No matter what comes next, one sentence has already been written into local history:

Lessos FC — the champions who finished the job.

To every player, every fan, every volunteer referee, coach, linesman, and ground marshal — thank you.

You made this season legendary.
